I love a statement earring. And we all know the digging I get from my dad when he sees the tassels and pom poms adorned from my ears.

I discovered the Atelier Macadabra Instagram account while searching for a rainbow dress. And I loved the statement rainbow macrame earrings at first sight.

After a bit of online scrolling, I realized the earrings were made in Quebec, Canada. I did try to find an Australian made equivalent, but they weren’t as colourful or big in design.
While the earrings can be made to order, a new release of designs are uploaded to Etsy and they are snapped up quickly.
I can understand why. They are gorgeous and unique and who doesn’t want to have rainbows hanging from their ears?

My rainbow earrings have even motivated my eldest daughter to get her ears pierced so she can wear them one day.
I wore mine with a new tee I bought from Gorman, one that doesn’t sit cropped on the hip. I’ve been removing tops that don’t fall below the hip.
